Marma Therapy

There are ten points on your body that can dramatically improve your well being and health that are taught by the teachings of Marma Shakti from the ancient Ayurveda dating back over 5000 years.

Here is what Dr. Richard Masla, ND an ayurvedic physician shares.

The information that I am sharing is based on the teaching of Dr. Pankaj Naram. Dr. Naram is one of the leading Ayurvedic Physicians of our time. His guru, Baba Ram Das Swami is in the disciplic succession from Lord Buddha’s personal physician. The secret Marma teachings have been handed down for over 2500 years from teacher to student.

There is a vow that one must take before the teachings are shared. This is, that you promise to use the Marma Shakti for your own good and the good of humanity.

Marma is a secret art and science of the ancient Ayurveda that works on sensitive energy points of the body. The Ayurveda mentions 108 specific Marmas.

The Dhanur Veda, the ancient art of military science, explains how these Marmas were used to subdue the enemy; 9 could be used to insure instant death, some for paralysis and others for slow death. The practice of the martial arts of India called Kalari is still taught in the southern Indian State of Kerala. According to Kaleri Martial Artists, injury to a particular Marma blocks or cuts the associated nadi (energy pathway) at that point, interrupting the flow of life force and vata. A Marma Point is defined as an anatomical area where flesh, veins, arteries, tendons, bones and joints meet to form the seats of life, these places have secret and significant value.

In ancient time when there was no aesthesia for surgery, expert Ayurvedic physicians would press certain Marma points to make the patient unconscious. After having administered the necessary treatment, the physician would press another set of points to bring the patient back to consciousness.

Benefit of Marma Therapy

Marma Therapy is used to improve the quality of your life.

  1. It helps you to stay centered, balanced and peaceful.
  2. Improves mental, physical and emotional flexibility.
  3. Provides an opportunity to experience the dynamic transformation on the body, mind, emotions and soul.

Knowingly or unknowingly we are all programmed from childhood on how to feel, how to think and what to believe. We create the perception of our reality but without knowing our true self. We experience our physical body, mind and emotions but not our true self. The self or atma is by nature non-material, immortal and does not die when the material body dies.

Baba Ram Das Swami taught that 32% of the world’s population fear death. 32% fear life and 32% fear life and death. Only 4% enjoy existence, enjoy life.

The next MA message shows how to become one of the four percent that enjoys life.
